About the Artist

Dani Harman Zack

Dani Zack began drawing and painting in early childhood and knew that she wanted to grow up to become an artist.  Over the years life took her in different direction.  She and her husband built a successful software company.

In 1996 Dani began to pursue her passion for working in 3 dimensions studying sculpture with Dr. John M. Soderburg in Arizona.  She completed her first casting "Predators" in 1998.   She has since cast more than 15 limited edition works in bronze.  This work has been shown and collected in New York, Chicago and throughout the Western states.  She also completed a number of  public and private sculpture commissions.  Much of her earlier sculptural work focused on her love of animals and the relationships between humans and animals.

In 2005, she and her husband moved from Sedona, AZ to Eugene, OR where they bought a farm and built an equine boarding and training facility.  She began painting watercolors shortly after the move and began working more in pastels  and oils over the last 7 years.  Her life-long love for animals and the wild lands is reflected in  her work.  She has two horses and studies dressage when not painting.    Much of her recent work is focused on the variety and beauty of the Pacific Northwest land and seascape.
